 We are small but growing

 Come and Enjoy His Presence.

He is still saving, healing, delivering and filling with His Holy Spirit

City On A Hill Christian Fellowship -Christian Life Center] is a local church located in Malone, New York.

Founded by Pastor Jerry LaBrake.

Our Focus is on worshipping the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. We prioritize the personal presence of the Holy Spirit among us.

Our Worship is spontaneous in nature. We use contemporary praise and worship songs to raise up a standard and to build a throne for the Lord Jesus to inhabit to come and take his place as Lord of all. Ps.22:3.

Our Vision and Mandate:  Is to Raise up the Standard

"For Unto Him shall the Gathering of the People be;  To find His Life and then to Give it Away.

One of our Hope [future goals] is to see a building go up that we will call a 'Life Center. We see a corporate gathering of Gods Prophetic people in a Round table fashion, declaring the works of Jesus and establishing his presence in our region.

We desire to see a  Corporate,  Prophetic-Apostolic Church,  to be established in the North Country that touches the local, national and global communities and calls in the Nations.

To provide an Prophetic-Apostolic- training center to impact our Community, our State, our Nation and our World. An outreach center to the Nations.  A School of the Prophets.

Eph.4: To train, equip, impart, stir up, activate and release the saints to do the work of the ministry.  A church that is built upon the foundation of the Apostolic and Prophetic, Jesus Christ Himself as the Chief cornerstone.

Mission: Is.61:1-4 To rebuild, raise up and renew

The Father's Heart is for the Nations

Our vision has to extend beyond the limitations of the local church and the community to the nations.  Go ye therefore and teach all nations  Acts 1:8 and ye shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you to be my witnesses unto the nations.

Nation: according to websters dictionary is to "Be Born" [ethnic-ethnos]

A community of people with a territory, history, economic life, culture and language in common, united under a single government.

When we look at Malone New York and the North Country we see People just like us representing a subculture of Nations [ethnos]. We see hidden people of muti-backgrounds, cultural groups, races, governments, tribes, tongues, ethnic groups, people groups, religious groups in our community and beyond.

Malone is a "Grazing Place"  Ps23 called to be a place of green pastures and still waters. A place where God leads us and we can hear His voice and he leads us into paths of his way of seeing and doing things. His eternal purposes are realized here.

Malone is the hub or epicenter of what God is doing in the North Country. We are not called the "Star of the North" by accident. It is prophetic for the morning star, Jesus. The north star pointing to what God is doing and saying.

Rev.5:9-10 Jesus Christ has redeemed us to God by His blood of the Lamb out of every kindred, tongue, people and nation and made us to be Kings and Priests unto God and that we should rule [reign] on the earth.

Rev.1:5-6  Jesus Christ the first begotten of the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth, unto Him that loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood and has made us kings and priests unto God and His Father , unto Him be glory and dominion forever, amen.  Ge.1:26-28;  Ps8:2-6 Heb2:7-11

II Pet.1:19 we have a more sure word of prophecy, a light that shines into a dark place until the day dawn and the daystar arises in our hearts.

Is.9:6-7   The increase of  His Government and Peace there shall be no end.  Upon the throne of David and upon His Kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and with justice forever. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform it.

Matthew 28:18-20  All power has been given to me in heaven and on earth, Go ye therefore and teach all nations.

An Apostolic Anointing is on this Apostolic Commission to evangelize the lost and teach all nations. The emphasis is on "Nations."   To go forth and declare, to call forth to release. Knowing that He is with us always even unto the end of the world.

Apostolic Authority:  Is.55:5 to call forth nations Behold that shall call forth a nation that you know not and nations that do not know you  shall be gathered unto you because the Lord our God has set His glory upon us.   Ro.4:17 faith calls forth the non-existent things as though they already existed.

Apostolic commission, anointing and authority given.   Apostolic Anointing to gather nations to come

Is.2:2-3 and it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the Lords House shall be established in the tops of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills and all nations shall be gathered [flow] unto it. The people shall say come and let us go to the mountain of the Lord and He shall teach us of His ways and we will walk in His paths and the word of the Lord shall go forth.    Declare and release peace to the nations.

Is.60: Nations to be released to the Apostolic vision and anointing. Arise and shine for your light has come and the Glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people [nations] but the Lord shall rise upon you and His glory shall be seen upon you and nations shall come to your light and to the brightness of your rising.  They shall gather themselves together and come to you. The abundance of the sea shall be converted to you and the forces of the nations shall  come unto you

Mt.6:33 seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.

The kingdom of God is where Jesus is both Lord and Christ. An atmosphere of where He is King. A  place where He is Lord and His Dominion is over all, where is has the preeminence. Ps110; rule out of Zion.

The Kingdom of God is a Spiritual Kingdom made up of nations, ethnic [ethnos] groups, cultures, peoples, kindred's, tribes, tongues. IT is a Kingdom of power and demonstration

Eph.2:12- we were aliens from Gods promises having no hope and without God in the world but in Christ we are made one by His blood . He is our peace and has made us all one and He has torn down the "Diving walls and middle walls of partition between us. He has abolished all that could stand against us and made in Himself of two, one New Man, so making peace. He has brought us into union with God through His Body by the cross.

Intercession : To intercede, hold up to the Father in Jesus Name.  Ezek. 22:30 and I sought for a man among them, to make up the hedge and to stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it. Our prayer

We must intercede and ask God to tare down dividing walls and restore our union with each other in Christ even as the Father and the Son are one, so are we to be in the Spirit.

Zach.4:6 to release nations and call them in by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Worldwide [global] Awakening, Revival and ingathering of nations [Harvest]  Eph.2 summing up [a gathering together] of all things in Christ.

To declare, call forth, release Kingly, priestly, Apostolic, Prophetic anointing over the earth. To cover. The earth shall be filled [covered] with the knowledge. of the glory as the waters cover the sea.

A prayer for nations and subcultures to arise and come forth as one in Malone, Franklin County, New York State,  America and the nations of the earth.

Come forth Oh Arm of the Lord and show yourself strong in our day.  Hear Oh God our prayer for the nations and subcultures. Cause them to arise by your mighty power and by the anointing of Your Spirit. Cause them to become one flesh in the Body of Christ and arise to the Unity of Faith gathered around the Lamb that was slain who sets on the throne. For unto Him shall the gathering of the nations be.

Be not divided any longer Oh Nations of the Lord but arise and come forth and shine. We tare down the dividing walls of self interest and put on the lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for he flesh. Hear OH Earth for the joy of the Lord is our strength. Put on your strength Oh Zion. Put on your beautiful garments for the hand of the Lord is upon you. Loose yourself from your captivity and set down for the hand of the Lord is to be revealed.

So be it, there it is.  Amen

                              What We Believe and Purpose

Statement of Faith from the By-laws

  • The Scriptures: The bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of Holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.  The New Covenant as recorded in the New Testament, we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine.  I Thes.2:13, IITimothy3:16

  • Man, his fall and Redemption: Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. "All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God."  "As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one."  Jesus Christ the son of god, was manifested to undo the works of the devil and gave His life and His shed Blood to Redeem and restore and back to God.        [Ro.3:9-10,23  Ro.5:12,  I Jn.3:8,  Gal. 3:13-14]  Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, and is made operative by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God  [Eph.2:8]

  • The Godhead: Our God is one, but manifested in three persons--the Father, the Son,  and the Holy Spirit. [Phil.2:6; Matthew 3:16-17] God the Father is greater than all; the source of the Word [Logos] and the Begetter.                [John 14:28  Jn.16:28  Jn.1:14] Jesus is the Son of God, one with the Father, the word flesh-covered, the one begotten and has existed with the Father from the beginning.  [Jn. 1:1, 14, 18  Jn.10:30] The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and is Eternal.  [Jn.15:26]

  • Man, His Fall and Redemption:  Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world.  "All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God." "As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one."  Jesus Christ the son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil and gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God.  Ro.3:9-10,23;  I Jn.3:8;  Gal.3:13-14  Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God  Eph.2:8-9

  • Eternal Life and New Birth:  Mans first step toward salvation is Godly sorrow that leads to repentance.  The new birth is necessary to all men and when fulfilled produces eternal life.  II Cor.7:10;  I Jn.5:12;  Jn.3:3-5

  • Water Baptism: Baptism in water is by submersion and is a direct commandment of the Lord, and is for believers only.  The ordinance is a symbol of the Christians identification with Christ in His death, Burial and Resurrection.  Mt.28:19; Ro.6:14; Col.2:1`2  Acts 8:36-39

  • The following recommendation toward the water baptism ceremony is adopted, to wit:  " On the confession of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and by His authority, I baptize you in the name of the Father the Son-the Lord Jesus Christ and of the Holy Ghost, Amen."

  • Baptism in the Holy Ghost:   The Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to those who are believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth.  This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Ghost Himself gives utterance .  Mt.3:11;  Jn.14:16-17;  Acts 1:8;  2:4;  2:38-39  19:1-7

  • Sanctification:  The Bible teaches that without Holiness no man can see the Lord.  We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of Grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation.  Heb.12:14;  I Thes.5:23       II Pet. 3:18   II Cor.3:18  Phil.3:12-14  I Cor.1:30

  • Divine Healing: Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by laying on of hands.  It is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and it is a privilege of every member of the church today. Mk.16:18  Ja.5:14-20  I Pet.2:24 Mt.8:17 Is.53:4-5

  • Resurrection of the Just and the return of Our Lord:  The angels said, "This same Jesus shall come in like manner."  His coming is immanent.  When He comes, "the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air"  Acts. 1:11;  I Thes.4:16-17 Following the tribulation, He shall return to the earth, as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and together with His saints, who shall be Kings and Priests, He shall reign a thousand years.  Rev.20:6

  • Hell and Eternal Retribution: The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire and therefore has no further opportunity in hearing the gospel or for repentance.  The lake of fire is literal.  The terms "Eternal" and "everlasting"  used in describing the duration of the punishment of the dammed in the lake of fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used i noting the duration of the joy and ecstasy of the saints in the presence of God. Heb.9:27  Rev.19:20  Heb.6:1-2

  •  Communion--the Lords Supper: we partake pf the Lords Supper to show His death till He comes  I Cor. 11:23-31   The bread symbolizes the Lords broken Body.   Is.53:5  I cor.11:24  The cup represents the New Covenant in His blood which provides us forgiveness and relationship with God.  Heb.9;          I Cor.11:25   We judge ourselves and realize this is our salvation and receive it . I Cor.11:28-30  for if we receive it unworthily--without giving it honor as our salvation--we are guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.  I Cor.11:27

  • Laying On Of Hands: A simple belief that power or anointing or any other necessary quality can be transmitted from one person to another.  Laying on of Hands was practiced by the Levitical Priesthood.  Jesus practiced it in Mark 10: 13-16  as a blessing, and is our grounds for baby dedication instead of baptism.  Laying on of hands for healing Mk. 5:22,23,28-31;41                 Acts 19:11-12;  28:8  Laying on of Hands to confer Office  Acts 6:2-6  Laying On of Hands to Receive the Holy Ghost Acts 8:16-18  Laying on of Hands to believe words spoken, to receive anointing, and to cultivate the anointing.      I Tim.4:14 Laying on of Hands for Ordination to consecrate and receive the necessary ministry tools.  I Tim.4:14
